3rd person view confirmed?

So according to a few people that have been reading one of the new Gamer Magazines it is confirmed that there is a 3rd person view.

Can we get a link or a copy of what was written from someone? This is actually a big thing to distinguish because third person implies we are in control of something, so it would be good to know during what point it uses third person point of view. Third person in the context of video games means we are viewing the player character from the outside rather than through their eyes as with first person. Park building games are traditionally from a "god-like" perspective, for a lack of a better word. In the case of Evolution, it is predominantly from the god-like point of view, but switches to other views in instances like taking control of the sharpshooter to tranquilize a dinosaur.

I would like to know as well. But it's probably one of Frontiers big secrets.

Pg 63 1st Paragraph of the portion titled "Touring And Terraforming The Grounds" states, "One of the most interesting elements Jurassic World Evolution introduces is the ability to view the park from the tourist level in a third-person perspective." That is the first sentence of that paragraph. So if anyone else has GameInformer 301 SPIDER-MAN issue then you can see it too.

Thanks for posting that. They don't sell that magazine in my neck of the woods so I have been trying to find the article. In The original discussion the op didn't know how to take screen shots.

That's great.

That would be awesome! I'm wondering though if they really only mean that you can ''view'' the park from tourist level rather than actually controlling the person as you could in Zoo Tycoon. Imagine walking around in JW like you're actually there as a tourist. That would be such an awesome feature to have!

Well, just to control the rangers jeep you are already from a third person view and you can use it as if you were a tourist because you can move freely with the car.

I do not see this issue because the camera in general is completely free in all senses, we can follow the tourist or the dinosaur that we want at our whim. Zoo Tycoon in that sense was very disgusting, I did not like anything

The article quotes, “One of the most interesting elements Jurassic World Evolution introduces is the ability to view the park from the tourist level in a third person perspective. Far from the top down view we’re all used to in simulations, this lets you engage with your guests - and more importantly, dinosaurs - at the ground level.”

I wonder if you can take direct control. It doesn’t go into much other detail. This may only be a way to view your park while the AI walks/runs around.

The fact that it mentions the dinosaurs leads me to believe you can't take control. So it's like JPOG where you can select a guest or a dinosaur to follow in.

You realize that all the gameplay we've seen (other than the 'man-height dinosaur view') is third-person, right?
Third-person perspective video games refers to video games in which the camera view is set outside of your characters body. As opposed to first-person perspective video games, you do not see the character's personal point of view, but instead you see a theoretical "third person's" view point "watching" the character.
Correction: gun-sight view would be first-person as well.

That's awesome. So it's not just from the jeep, also 3rd person tourist view. I'd like a first person view too and freedom to walk around.

Not correct, because there is no "your character's body" that we are outside of and controlling. While the character is the park manager, we don't see them in any form, nor are we seeing it from their eyes really. Jurassic World Evolution and management games alike don't subscribe to these point of views as they are known. I've referred to their perspective as "god-view" previously, but I don't know what the exact point of view would be called, if it has a name.
