4..3..2..1 SLOW DOWN!

Real funny FD.....just as Im engaging into super cruise at the end of the count down, I get a big red flag to SLOW DOWN.
The first time I saw this I had a panic attack...but now after a few months of play...I can see its just a joke to keep the noobs on their toes.

It will happen close to any mass in space, the game is set up that way. Which is way it is sometimes best to use an arc rather than a straight line, if that straight line will pass you close to planets etc.

Yes I know...Ive even had heat issues kicking into SC too close to the star, with the path taking me through the corona....but as a newbie locked into the SC countdown and to get this big red warning, I thought was a bit of a cruel joke from the devs.

When I first started playing it took me a while to get use to the feeling of coming out of a hyper jump and being greeted with an immense star and the unsettling sound of the FSD disengaging. I kept panicking thinking if I didn't turn away immediately I would be swallowed by the burning star.

unsettling?, i love the sound the FSD makes when it disengages, so awesome! :D

This used to be major panic mode: Now it is hard not to be too, complacent.
