Horizons 4 menu choices...can I uninstall?

After a somewhat confusing download process (non-Steam) I now have 4 choices at the Main menu:
1) Elite 32-bit
2) Elite 64-bit
3) Elite Horizons
4) Single ship combat.

Using the "Uninstall" in the Main menu Options tab can I uninstall Elite 32 and 64-bit leaving just Horizons?

Thought I read else where here, in a not too concrete fashion. that anything you don't use can be uninstalled.

Short answer - No

Wrong, he can uninstall 32bit version without consequences.
Not sure about 64bit, but I guess he can do that as well.
Horizons is pretty much whole 64bit game + planetary landings in itself.

I downloaded Horizons and got the 64bit game as well - maybe you need the 64bit game to play Horizons as they need the same files.
