4 meter technique

For making smooth, realistic coasters most builders agree you should use the 4 meter technique. This can take a very long time though and can be very tedious. Since the process is the same pretty much every time, would it be possible to automate this in an update? Put a button that will do it automatically for you? Even if you have to put a warning that it may cause instability on slower machines. This would save so much time and would let much less dedicated players make much higher quality rides. I can't see this being too crazy to code, considering how repetitive the process is. If it is I understand. Thanks
