Either your Shiled Generator is very, very big, or your Shield Cell Bank is very,, very small (could be exagerating), as the cell appeared to only restore less than a rings worth.

Thanks for sharing - they certainly did bleed your dry of shield cells. Do you have more than one cell bank on the ship?

only 1 set of 3 SC, normally trading, so just enough to run if i get into bother, normally have more pips to shields too, but wanted full power to beams. just testing guys, but points noted.

- V1.3 Turrets aim very good now... at the price of having their DPS nerfed significantly (a Turret Beam laser now does about 1/3 of the damage of a Gimbal and maybe 1/4 of a fixed)
- a maneuverable Ship like the Python is best kitted with Gimbals, screw the Turrets (with Gimbals, the Fight would have been over after 20-25sec)

just wanted to check this, at founders the biggest beam laser you can buy is the gimballed C3, and the biggest turreted is the D3, (which is what i had, not the stated B3) and the stats show not much difference between them damage wise, (same DPS, one pip less on damage.) but the gimballed use more power and have a bigger thermal load.
