417 million. What next?

I don't post on the forum that much but I've hit a wall and I'm looking for suggestions of what to do next PVE wise. I've made my money from T6 trades>cargo mission grinding >stacking RES pirate missions> Sothis/Ceos> and back to mission grinding in my home system. I've bought numerous ships- Currently own a Python for cargo missions, FAS for bounties and skimmer missions plus an Asp X for tourist adventures. Have all the modules I need- some engineered up to G3/G4 I've owned a 'Conda (briefly), FGS, FDL and Vulture before- didn't get on with them and found the Python/FAS pairing I have are best at the type of activities I've been doing. Would consider an Anaconda again if their was something I could use it for that the Python doesn't do better. I quite like making money- just want some new ship/activity suggestions, maybe places to go that are different from my Federally aligned and highly repp'd home system.

There is always the Guardian and Thargoid stuff to keep you occupied until 3.0 drops on Tuesday, assuming you have not bothered with them so far. You could also visit the INRA bases.

Yeah have been thinking about doing one of those- a task suitable for the Asp X (33ly jum range) or would I need a more defensively capable ship to head into Thargoid country?

Quick! Head to Colonia and learn Neutron-boosting on the way!
Then when 3.0 hits, you'll have to travel all the way back to re-engineer your ships. :)

417 million?

In all seriousness, 417 million Cr is barely enough for a good PVE Conda.

Haha, very funny, haha *slow clapping*

Yeah, you guessed it, I did just that and I'll be sprinting back to bubble today :D

these are excellent suggestions and really good things especially the guardian missions. your asp would be fine. theres nothing in these locations to shoot at you.
Another thing I would recommend is join a player group, it does make the game more interesting IMO though I do realise some people want to play solo

Have you thought outside the box...err... ship? There's one activity you can do alone or with a friend that will guarantee you'll:

1. Get out of your ship and drive around ancient, scenic planetary sites throughout the galaxy;
2. Make a shipload of money;
3. Consult comprehensively difficult spreadsheets and topographic maps every 5-10 minutes;
4. Acquire a large amount of valuable scan data;
5. Spend so much time out in the black, you'll want to put a space bullet through your space head.

I'd like to introduce you to the grindiest of all side missions... Ram Tah's Guardian Mission. Reserved for only the most masochistic of CMDR's. It makes the Hutton Run look like a data courier mission.

Re: Rookie numbers- The things you do in a Conda I do in a FAS.

I like to play around with SLF (ship-launched fighters) so that would be a reason to get a Conda or a FGS.

Also, as others have mentioned, Thargoid and Guardians stuff, the ASpX is probably the best ship for that (easier to find a landing spot than with a Conda).

I seriously doubt your FAS can haul 192 tons (or 100+ passengers) with 26 Ly jump and be fully combat-capable, HazRES-specced with 2000 MJ of shields.

FAS for RES (including 3/3 wings) killing Pirate Lords, anything combat or risky, Python for cargo- makes more dough because: outrposts. Cost a fraction of your Conda. Sorry if that upsets you.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions- I'm going to head off out into the deep in the Asp X to get some narrative context.

Traveling out to any of the INRA sites or Thargy stuff is easier with a ship that can jump 45LY+. I use either my DBX (53ly jump) or my AspX (48ly jump) for tooling around the galaxy exploring stuff.

Try fighting Thargoid Interceptors and then reconsider the Conda. Or buy a T-10 instead. You'll soon find out that 400m is way less than you initially thought ;)

You don't stack haulage missions in a FAS.

Have you considered working the BGS? You have a pet faction, so push them into expansion and take over the surrounding star systems. Alternatively, you could join one of the many player groups that work the BGS and work with others to make their faction dominant in its sector.

Buy an Orca and relearn to do all the things you currently do with it.
Worf, in a RES in his Orca:
