4k blueprint limit and moving pieces limit

Ive opened an issue on thenissue tracked about the 4k limit that got reintroduced. I think if we get enough votes on that maybe frontier atleast will communicate with us on that matter? Tbh i dont even know what we have to do so that an issue is „one that many users have asked“…

We need to be able to save bigger blueprints, and even more importantly we need to be able to move these bigger piedes around. Currently building a hotel with around 6k pieces. Reaching a certain piece amount you are not even able to move everything around. It i want to turn my hotel a bit more and move it slightly i need to split it up into different sections which is extremly tedious and time consuming.

Please consider voting on the issue to get this to frontiers attention

Uhm, just some insights for you, it seems to be more a 'size' issue than a piece issue:

I could move around as i liked, i can turn it, spin it and so on. Yes, DLSS doesn't seem to like it and it takes about one or two seconds till the turn is fully there, but this shouldn't be the thing you are describing

I can't vote on it, but i added a 'can reproduce' comment on it.

Whaaaaaaat?? How are sou able to move this around? Are there any clear infos on these limitations? How am i supposed tomkjow how big of stuff i can move. Ill try posting a pic tonight from my problem cause for me the advance move stops working after hitting 5k pieces exactly :/

Uhm, no need, found the issue as i loaded your park: My pavilion is one single building, your hotel is a lot of scenery groups combined and then i also have this issue with the multi select tool. So the issue is more: Multi Select is not capable to move more than 5k pieces at once....

So i am no expert and i am more of an intermediate builder compared to you, but can't you reallign some parts in more bigger groups? I am no expert on this as i always try to stuff as much pieces as possible in on single group.

Firstly, thanks for taling time out of your day to help me troubleshoot this, realy appreciated.
Thing is with modt my buildings i try to leave everything in seperate groups either for quick copy pasting or for recoloring. For example most fences are in one group while all roofs are in a seperate group.
Maybe when i finish the hotel i can strt grouping stuff together and try to move it again.

I just thought it was so much easier before the new update. I was able to move up to 8k pieces around no problem :/ i also have a complete star wars darkride waiting to move into my park however i cannot do that anymore as i cant even save it because its around 9k pieces. I want to play the game, not waste time grouping and seperating all my stuff into 3-4 different blueprints you know.

But i woll definitely try the approach you talked about with grouping things together in a better way

hey so i got to test around and seems like its realy limited for me to 5k pieces somehow. anything above that, no moving available :/ the game is also telling me that information (bottom right corner). ive tested around and it doesnt seem to be different with less building groups

LOL.....i actually never hovered the button. I just saw it turned grey between 4800 and 5100. But if they state it that clear, this almost hints at a 'hard limit' Probably 5000 wall pieces are easy, 5000 path pieces may crash the game.

yeah probably it is somehow limited by certain pieces. anyway i hope this gets adressed sometimes soon and maybe the limit gets lifted again.
