5 Ideas for Excellent Mining System Overhaul (Less is better) :)

1, Drop prospect drone full stop
2, add module to scan asteroids
3, add much more ore to asteroids
4, make the class and size on refinery affect ore yield when refined
5, collector drones make them last forever but charge per min they are in use


Mining is now fix!
 
1. I wouldn't drop them, I like them, however, I think they should remain persistent. Depending on your module size, you would only have so many active at a time (delivering data) but once an asteroid is depleted, they should remain as markers showing what you've already prospected and/or mined out.
2. I don't think we need this if we have the above...and, for me, it is a bit too much of the point...click...profit

4. Agreed...tie refinery bin number to module size and yield amounts to class
5. I think they last plenty long enough as is....what do you mean by charge per min...charge of what?
 
I hate to say it. But we got our mining "overhaul" already.

Though it needs to be taken further so its an endless treasure hunt that is rewarding to explore and mine.
