If really I had to choose 5 for each continent, here is what I would choose. Little trick here, I decide to count the arctic zone as a continent because why not and also I don't include birds here. It's just too hard for me to sacrifice a lot of birds, we do need them in addition to what I will ask here :') I will still indicate nice birds for each zone.

Oceania:
Tree-kangaroo
Short-beaked echidna
Common spotted cuscus
Sugar glider
Goanna

Birds: Australian pelican, Kookaburra, Kea, Lorikeet

Asia:
Palla's cat
Golden takin
Blackbuck
Japanes raccoon dog
Golden snub-nosed monkey

Birds: Salmon-crested cockatoo, Great hornbill, Lesser bird of paradise, Mandarin duck, Himalayan monal

Africa:
Gelada
Serval
Nile crocodile
Black-backed jackal
Panther chameleon

Birds: Shoebill, Secretary bird, Grey crowned-crane, Marabou stork, Grey parrot

Europe:
Wild boar
European marten
Alpine marmot
Highland cow
European bison (to complete the line-up but I'm a bit meh on this one)

Birds: Eurasian eagle-owl, Western capercaillie, White stork, Mute swan

Arctic: This zone absolutely needs more animals! I will be very angry if walrus, musk ox and wolverine don't make it.
Walrus
Musk ox
Wolverine
Arctic hare
Lemming

Birds: Snowy owl, Atlantic puffin

North America:
American Black Bear
North American porcupine
Rocky-mountain Elk
Sea otter
Virginia opossum (as a European, they make me laugh but honestly I put it only to have a fifth animal)

Birds: Bald eagle, Wild turkey, Pilated woodpecker, Northern potoo

South America: As for the arctic region, I will be very angry if we don't have spectacled bear and at least 2 species of monkey.
Spectacled bear
South American coati
Golden lion tamarin
Black howler monkey
Common marmoset
... and I have many more in mind

Birds: Andean condor, Blue-and-yellow macaw, Scarlet macaw, Toco toucan, Roseate spoonbill

As you can see I'm full of ideas and I prepare myself to be disappointed but only because of my hopes. I'm never disappointed by developpers, they do a brilliant work if you ask me.

Great Blue Heron
Gopher Tortoise

For the purposes of my list, I have just decided to stick to animals that would work well as habitat animals (not including fully aquatic species). Also, no need to worry about 'popular' species being on there, as most of what I want is pretty niche anyway.
