Glad you ask. Here's mine. Some of these (mostly first ones) are my hopes. Will/Would these do?

Africa:
  • African leopard
  • Baboon (any species like olive and hamadryas)
  • Masai giraffe
  • Crowned crane (black or grey)
  • Nile crocodile
Australia:
  • Australian monitor lizard (either perentie or lace monitor)
  • Short-beaked echidna (last 'best-known' Australian mammal genus to be there)
  • Eastern grey kangaroo
Eurasia:
  • Markhor
  • Japanese serow
  • Axis deer AKA chital
  • Golden snub-nosed monkey
  • Wild boar
Americas:
  • Squirrel monkey
  • American flamingo
  • Rockhopper penguin (Western subspecies were in South America)
  • Wolverine
  • Elk

If really I had to choose 5 for each continent, here is what I would choose. Little trick here, I decide to count the arctic zone as a continent because why not and also I don't include birds here. It's just too hard for me to sacrifice a lot of birds, we do need them in addition to what I will ask here :') I will still indicate nice birds for each zone.

Oceania:
Tree-kangaroo
Short-beaked echidna
Common spotted cuscus
Sugar glider
Goanna

Birds: Australian pelican, Kookaburra, Kea, Lorikeet

Asia:
Palla's cat
Golden takin
