5 new Ships were are there ?????

hi all

I am just woundering the Beta Backers have get "plus free access to one of the 5 new ships" but i see no of them can me any of you tell were are the ships ?

I guess the ships aren't new any more. Beta was ages ago.

There are not here, yet. Will be added later. The newsletter explicitly said that those 5 new ships will be added eventually.

Because there were supposed to be 25 ships at release and FD realised they were not going to be able to achieve this, they increased the number to 30 and promised one of these extra 5 for waiting.

Be patient. Those ships probably won't be available for a while yet. I would guess that they'll probably want to concentrate on any major bugs that have cropped up after initial release before they start working on additional content for the game. I wouldn't expect to see any new ship until the end of January or the beginning of February at the earliest.

The game was originally planned to have 25 ships - there are currently 15, so 10 more to come - for example we've only seen one Imperial ship.

There are now an additional 5 on top of that as well that planned for the future.

Its a lot of work to design a new ship in ED, every single one of them has its custom soundset, unique characteristics and must have a "role" in the overall ship list and balance of the game, so i guess it will take some time for the new ships to come.There's one fear i have, that FD will release at least some of them as bought ships with real money.

We got the Clipper and the Drop Ship. Now the Alliance specific ship is still missing...make it a cargo ship
