I am beginning to get a bit crazy from all these exploration bugs but this 50% thing makes no sense to me at all.
Why does it need to tell me that I have mapped 50%? If you map a body you don't stop doing so until it is fully mapped (and get the bonus) so what is the point of the 50% notice?
Is there something going on that I just have not noticed?
I think, they just wanted to make it a bit nicer, it is not really a big thing. I am sure it was thought as improvement. To me it isn't, but I think it was meant well. If this were the only complaint, I would laugh. No problem with a voice message.
On the other hand, the nice voice message you received when asking to dock (including naming the landing pad, and so on) is now absent. Sometimes it plays, when you activate the DC for auto docking, then it says first that you are allowed to dock, and at which pad number, and then it says auto docking is enabled. Seems a trigger problem, if you do not auto dock the message is just missing. Docking still works normally, and other messages are played.
It is also a bit funny, if you are good in mapping, the message '50% mapped' comes immediately before 'mapping complete'. I started a small game lately: Map so fast (and efficiently) that the 50% message comes without pause before the 'mapping complete' message. What will happen, if the time between 50% and 'complete' is very short? At least mapping becomes more interesting this way
Provided they fix the FSS bugs, I am not playing at this time. There are too many areas of the game to avoid because of bugs, so I avoid the game at this time...
