Anyone else noticing that a glancing blow across some wanted targets (without killing them) get you a 5000/5 day bounty thats me and a friend seen the same in the last 24 hours. I had a wanted Python run through one of my beams for 1 second and got the 5 day 5000cr murder bounty.

Something isn't right with the latest patch, I seem to earn myself a trespass warning/fine and ultimately dormant bounty just by doing surface missions.
For every "Cut The Power, Data Gathering" and "Performance Review" missions completed, I have to get myself blown up by the faction I am wanted with.
Even when I scan Sentrys and they show up wanted and as Mission Targets, upon firing on them I get fined which gets added to my dormant bounty.
Everything else seems to be working, get paid out for missions, still get ranked up, still get the bounty for shooting down wanted drones.
Seems like whatever triggers fines/wanted status/bounties is borked.
It was working fine before the update but now I can't complete a surface missions without being wanted.
It makes sense what you are saying - in theory. Maybe that's how its supposed to work and it was bugged before the patch. The first part doesn't sound like a bug, just different jurisdictions. A faction gives you the mission to infiltrate another factions territory. They don't like that. You don't need to blow yourself up, just live with the bounty.
The second part sounds like a bug unless you are in a no fire zone.
Nothing is broken. The system is sensible and logical.
