5000 Systems

A couple of days ago I visited my 5000 system and after selling the data I am around 40M short of becoming 'Elite'. By my recogning it will be another 1000 systems to achieve the ultimate (I don't farm and I dont have an OCD to scan everything).

To those 'Elite-ists' out there, how many systems did it take to achieve your goal?

I was Ranger + 10% before selling the data of my most recent expedition.
3250 systems (~1100 of which were neutron stars) gained me 137MCr and Elite.
Selling all 4300 systems gained 172.8MCr.
