What Haven't You Done in Elite Lately?

I've owned Elite since day one. I haven't done all the features for one reason or another. I would like to see who is like me in this regard. I'll show you mine then you show me yours.
I haven't:
Flown or been part of a Wing (I fly mostly in Solo)
Engineered Guardian stuff
Traveled farther than 5000lys
Made Elite in Combat
Participated much less won in PvP
Mined Void Opals or Painite
Hauled people or been a damaged station
Encountered a Thargoid
Bought more than 5 ships
Mined other than for the engineering stuff

You can see where I'm going with this. Not to say that I will not do these things. Maybe later.

Lately, as of in the last couple months? Nothing.
My last activity was a visit to Colonia with a detour on my way there.

  • killed a Thargoid
  • ganked a ganker
  • saved people from a damaged station
  • found Raxxla
  • became a Fuel Rat
  • won a BGS (civil) war
  • won BGS elections
  • grinded all PP rewards
  • found Raxxla
  • found TDW's secret station
  • visited all project Dynasty surface sites
  • visited all generation ships
  • grinded all Guardian tech
  • bought all ships, still a few missing
  • visited Beagle Point
  • became famous
  • discovered all geo and bio discoveries in all parts of the Galaxy
  • ganked a newbie

Depends how far back "lately" counts, or do you simply mean things we haven't done "ever".

"Lately";
I haven't done trading since void opals were introduced.
I haven't done a community goal for even longer than that.

Ever;
I have never visited colonia or been more than 5200 LY away from the bubble.
I have never been to any of the planets where you can go inside thargoid structures

Looking at your list for inspiration, I've:

  • flown in a wing a few times. But mostly, I fly alone.
  • engineered Guardian FSD boost. The rest are junk, imho.
  • think I've gone as much as 7500ly from the bubble. But to each their own in that regard.
  • Currently Dangerous and will eventually be Elite in combat. Not that I will be Elite in combat, if you know what I mean.
  • 1-8 in PVP. Eight of those nine were gankers, and I actually killed one of em way back in the day.
  • have totally mined dual painite hotspots, guilty as charged.
  • currently rescuing souls from a damaged stations right now.
  • have encountered but not yet fought a Thargoid. That'll change before long.
  • haven't bought more than 32 ships.
  • have mined for engineering, and done regular old mining.

Adding to that list, I've:
  • fulfilled a Seeking Luxuries Type-9's fondest wishes.
  • spent hard time in a few detention centers.
  • done the rare trade circuit.
  • carpeted a planet's surface with carcasses of Sidewinders

  • achieved a single Elite ranking
  • done any PowerPlay
  • been to Colonia
  • seriously fought any Thargoid ships except Scouts
  • ever used a manifest scanner
  • ever used a shield cell bank in anger

I have done 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

I haven't done the Guardian grind but have been to the sites.

What I haven't done:

1. Sag A*
2. Beagle Point
3. Jumped 300 LY in one jump
4. Traveled over 900 m/s in normal space
5. Racing
6. Planetary traverse in SRV
7. Tried to land on unstable planet
8. Ram Tah missions
9. Visited any tip off sites
10. Planetary scan missions
11. Found a single infected vessel for that mission
12. Discovered an ELW
13. Human Technology Broker business
14. Achieved any Power Play unlocks for modules
15. Been broke (flew without rebuy, lose ship)
16. Been allied with factions in Shinrarta
17. Used voice attack
18. Used headlook hack
19. Ever outfitted canons
20. Ever done a sightseeing mission with more than one jump each way involved.

- ran out of fuel

What HAVEN’T I done? Hmmm ... in no particular order ...

  • Got any rank in Empire
  • Hit Elite in anything
  • Been to Shinrarta Dezra (obviously ...)
  • Seen, yet alone fought/killed, a Thargoid
  • Visited Colonia (or, indeed, been over 2000LY from home)
  • Fought another CMDR
  • Owned an Anaconda
  • Used a Cannon hardpoint (think I’ve tried all the others)

2. Accepted a mission.
3. Landed anywhere.
4. Seen another ship.
5. Seen inhabited space.

But at some 40k light years out, that’s going to happen. Been 31 weeks since I left, still a long, long way to go. 4.0 will be out before I’m back most likely.
