55SM Black Hole and some other rare things in one system

In the System Eock Bloae AA-A h36 I just came across the most massive black hole I've ever found by myself.

With over 55 solar masses it is already a monster

There are also two white dwarfs in the system, this is the first one and it also has a rocky ring with a Ø of just over 5.2 mill KM

Due to the lighting conditions it is almost invisible, I have been pulled out of the Supercruise by the ring myself without seeing it first

This white dwarf is orbited by, among others, the following two water worlds

At the second white dwarf there is an ammonia world to watch

And last but not least, this water world orbits a red M-class dwarf in the system

Great find, congratulations! However, I do not share your opinion that it is a "monster". Rather a very young (on an astronomical scale, of course) and small one. Super massive black holes are said to reach millions of times the mass (don't confuse size with mass!) of our Sun. Sgr A*, for example, is a very prominent example, but also far from the largest discovered so far.

10-100 solar masses is usually considered the range for stellar black holes, although this certainly may be the largest the OP has found it's not a monster. It's hypothised that Black holes of intermediate size between Stellar and Super Massive Sag A* size should exist, say 100,000-200,000 sm but none have so far been confirmed, I don't even know if the Stellar Forge is capable of modeling black holes in that range, surely that would need to be set up during the initial galaxy creation so they probably don't exist in the current model.

So this one is probably exactly median, come to think of it I have never actually checked the mass of the black holes I have found.....maybe I will go back and have a look!

Nevertheless that's a really nice system OP and well worth contacting the GEC about, and some nice screenies.

After checking my largest is 53sm!
