Well, I am hoping to not step on the 'open' toes of your group of lounging visitors, but I have something to share none the less. I read this post about three weeks ago, and almost started an inquiry, but then I waited. I recently joined a fresh faction on the 'New Squadrons' list, in game...I had fallen out of Supporting role With a large Faction before this and that sort of led to my spontaneous 'application' that got approved with my surprise into a brand new faction in its beginnings(literally). Our goal is keep hunting for English deckhands (recruits) to join this crew as a younger Faction and assisting the BGS with us, for all the same reasons as you do here . . I am serious too, This is exactly what I was hoping for, but the English is hit or miss, w/being a Euro/Deutsch/Eng Group on our discord, I can communicate but not perfectly, the Leader is only adapting strategy to the Independent Alignment in which you would prefer I hope, primo pilots agreeing to NON-'Ganker'/Bully membership pre-requisite status, and I totally agree with this approach.(My Director of operations told me I can be an Ambassador, say what ever I want here, but that is the one thing I can NOT do is be a Bully Ganker in Deciat, and therefor anything else goes)
My previous experience. I was in a system controlled by a large(BIG) player Faction, so my Squad supported them 100%, they were nice at first, but then the true nature showed, as they had me limited to leave alone their history of heroics, remain strictly an outsider and in doing so kept me from being a Squadron leader any longer. I disbanded, saw your tiny group here, added a bookmark to this post. Since, January 2021, I am done transitioning from my initial XBOX account period. With my new PC CMDR account, I feel very excited to be in this Faction as it stands, (we just landed our first outpost*) I represent here. I haven't purchased Odyssey since I haven't made the PC upgrade reqs yet . . . I suppose that is a good thing, since hot fixes are a never ending story.. so far..(I will buy Odyssey next week most likely)
I am inviting your group to consider our Faction as your own...are you at all interested? We will all be a driven team of wing mates to show off of our potential and make new allies as the Faction grows.
As of right now, there are a total of 36 faction members! I joined last week as 'el numero 23' (I think it was), I may be one of two or three(2-3) US CMDRs actively in open play and we are only there to help the Faction take the expansion to the next level...the first expansion is yet to get underway, that is how fresh this faction is. You all are very similarly relaxed gamer styles it seems to me, one of my reasons for being here, but hoping to wing up with you all on the 'in common' basis for everything we would set out to accomplish as a unit . . . I hope you talk it over at least.
This is an open conversation...please ignore me outright, or reply here, Any one in the vicinity may contact me via DM if you have to...This offer stands until you together decide, and that Faction is unnamed until I hear from one of your actual members(or its requested by reader) . . . its a great opportunity if you can shed any of the Euro-lingo stigma. . . (We would instantly become the main English Primo Unit One/Adjust some roles to our needs in the Discord most likely - Examples of team work go far beyond the BGS, and even as Wing mates...we all have our own pilot careers in mind, so we can discuss any thing you like about this here, I hope we do . . thanks for your time)
