... I had done everything there was to do...
I guess I'm just not a hard-core gamer... I've been playing for almost 2 months, and I still have a ton of things I want to do...
1. Pick an independent system close to Empire/Federation/Alliance space, with close access to ship upgrades and a RES site near an outpost with a black market. Start a pirating career after setting up Voice Attack to allow me to broadcast the Disney "A Pirates Life for Me" into the general coms channel when I interdict my customers...
2. Get a few wingmates to help me hunt some psychopaths - basically, I'll fly a Sidewinder, then all of us visit a highly populated system and I'll wait outside the wing until I get picked on by CMDRs looking for a cheap thrill... then join the wing and turn on the wing beacon
3. Buy and upgrade a Python, trading in my Asp.
4. Go on a long trip... get some alone time, check out some interesting nebulas/black holes, maybe find a Thargoid!!
5. Flip a system, or at least be there supporting the winning side when it gets flipped.
6. Go after a top 10 CMDR in the bulletin board, and have an epic struggle where they run and I have to chase them down. Or where I have to run, and they chase me down
7. Reset my game, and play a self-imposed ironman where I reset my game every time I lose my ship.
8. Go to a RES site in my selected pirating system, and see how many NPC/CMDR bounty hunters I can take out before I have to flee/die.
I'm sure between now and then I think up a bunch more stuff to do (especially once we can land on planets and walk around). But right now, I'm just having too much fun flying the assassination missions, and finding all the ways they can get forked or otherwise messed up.
I love the openness of this game, and how nobody's telling me what to do...
