7 friends = one wing, possible, sort of.......

Ok so you have 7 friends wanting to play together as one wing, pirating, bounty hunting ect, but only 4 in a wing. so whats the best way to get all playing together.

You use the "Switcher" maneuver.
How does it work. Well 7 is the magic number.
Lets say all 7 players are chasing another wing down, the first 4 man wing, interdicts the target wing, or drops out in a USS with a target/wing inside it.
Wingman 4 has the job of "Switcher", as soon as his wing has dropped in, he quickly leaves the wing and messages the following friends wing that has only 3 in it, he joins that wing and drops a beacon to guide them into the same instance. So now you have all 7 friends in the same instance.

So what do you think, i have not tried it yet, but theoretically it should work ok with a little practice.

I must admit, when I first read and saw the way wings work; I thought of the same thing as you, it would work with many wings so long as the first wing all split and draw in the other wings into the instance.

Well yes, expanding even further, if all 4 from the wing, each join another 3 man wing and drops a beacon, then another 12 players could drop in too, total 16 players. I can see groups using this for mega battles with opposing groups of players. Whats the max players in an instance, 32, so 16 on each side. it fits. lol

There is a cooldown between joining and leaving wings, so this will be a pretty rough strategy. Nice thoguht though :D

whats the cool down, if only seconds, then ok, any longer then yeh, might be a problem.
