For number 1 remember "Fill My Kettle And Go". Meaning F, M, K, A and G Class stars can be scooped.

Pretty sure you can scoop from O and B stars as well, there was another one about a nice girl that i forget, but it covered the others. Basically, just avoid T stars and colder (Y, L) dwarfs.
