84.32Ly Anaconda

Was getting sick of hearing of all the puny ships getting +50Ly jump ranges; so decided to max out my Anaconda to a 84.32Ly jump range.

Well, turns out that we're not quite there yet on a 84.32 jump range. Must be a 2.3 error. I got the range all right, but on first jump only, where I could jump 77Ly, probably could have plotted to max range. After the first jump, the FSD came to it's senses and reverted a more realistic range of 67.46Ly.

Don't know what caused ED to miscalculate the range, changed the Thrusters from a 4D to a 5D, the Fuel tank from 8t to 16t and added the Detailed surface scanner.

Still happy with 67.46Ly though.

Fuel mass maybe? Noticed that on my DBX - fully loaded with fuel I had shorter jump range which extended as I got lighter and emptier on fuel. Max range was possible while I was flying almost on fumes...

I've actually noticed that I've lost jump range on my AspX. I was sitting at 50.02LY in 2.2, now after the update it's 49.98LY, but nothing has changed internally.

It looks like it's taking its current jump range as its potential laden jump range despite having no cargo! Might have to submit as a bug.

Logged in after the weekly maintenance, and got the extended range again. It looks like we're getting one gratuitous 25% boost jump after logging in. Yummy, free boost jumps!

Edit: Think I'm gonna complain about the boost bug not being a neutron star boost bug...

:)

It's actually a bug I found during the beta. I've had a long ticket with Frontier and they know about it. When I discovered it, I was able to warp 3000ly. No kidding.

Outstanding!

I've got my ExploraConda to 61.35LY but at that range it has 4D shields, SRV, and can boost. I suppose I could squeeze a bit more range if I gave up shields and dropped from a 5D Power Distributor to a 1D and dumped the Hangar, but I like the way this build is working.

Forgot - it also has the 5C 32T fuel tank plus a 4C 16T aux fuel tank for getting through the non-scoopable regions, so I guess I'd probably get up around 65+ if I really stripped it down.

I haven't experienced the bug boost yet.

Hey i managed to get this today

Who needs boost? Not me!
My overcharged 2D power plant gives enough charge to power a combination of 4 set ups:
1. Exploring.
2. Docking at a starport.
3. Using AFMU's.
4. Planetary landings and SRV use.

:)

I've never been a min/max kind of guy but you guys are really starting to make me jealous, of your Fsd rolls. My last trip to Felicity was 30 rolls and I couldn't break 49%. Thats 30 rolls over the original 20 or so on my 6A. I've lost track of the 5A roll count but I know it's triple digits. 48.7% is the best I've gotten.

Yes - you should never visit a casino

I have most of my FSD's around 52-54 and one A5 at 56.

I have noticed that in the recent beta I couldn't get over 50% I fear that may now be the norm, and even Norm isn't happy about that.

Wish I could have gotten a 55%+ on a Class 6, but 53.5% is my best so far.

Wow. I plugged your numbers into my Anaconda build...would make a significant difference. Oh well. Doesn't take any joy away from the experience and 57ly's is still a crazy jump range for an Anaconda with SRV's and a fighter hanger.
