89% increase to fsd jump distances

Commanders, i have made an important discovery. I have realised how to increase the jump range of all ships (including captial) by 89%. I introduce an anti gravity technology that is used in our age but can be utilised in the Elite Universe.

Apparently this technology is used in american b2 bomber to reduce their mass so they can take off and land on shorter run ways. In a nut shell it reduces the weight of the object by up to 89%.

Who in FDev do i tell of this amazing discover ? This has massive rammifications for the human race ! Who do i tell?

I have bad news for you : it isn't used in our age, since it doesn't work.

PS.
The B-2 uses its Engines to create Electricity indeed. So does every single other Jet. Literally every single one.
The Battery in the F-4 for example would last some 10 Minutes (absolute tops) in flight after the two CSD (Constant Speed Drive) Generators would fail or be manually cut-off. After that would follow : dark & silent ;)

Commanders, this technology is well established ,,,, if you only did your own research. Barak Obama declassified this technology during his term. Its fully available to anyone who can be -bothered- to do their homework 😅 and thanks for the correction i actually meant mass not weight.

Basically you would be flying a large sized ships but it has the mass of a small sized ship or less. Basically put guardian fsd tech into the dock !

Did you know bumblebees use a biological variant of this technology in order to be able to fly?
Everybody knows that bumblebees are aerodynamically incapable to fly due to their weight/wing size relation.

Believe it, you read in the internet (HERE! This forum is in the internet after all, isn’t it?), therefore it must be true!

The funny thing is that almost everything smaller than a pigeon is incapable of aerodynamic flight (glide). They all simply brute force fly by pushing enough air downward (see rockets and quadcopter drones) :D

Why some people are so obsessed about bumblebees is a mystery to me, bigger than the "mystery" why bumblebees can fly.

I was under the impression that it was due to bumblebees moving their wings in a manner analogous to helicopter or drone rotors that provided their lift. The angle of the bee's body (I.e. Shifting it's body mass) providing directional movement.
This is from a large tome I have memorised called "Things my Dad found interesting and believed to be true and so told his kids". Some things in this weighty volume of work have turned out not to be 100% accurate but did provoke a lot of reading!
I remember reading the oft repeated myth that we only use about 1/3 of our brain. I saw something on TV about a guy in the pre recordable media age managing to record somebody's voice on a piece of string.
"I said isn't that something Dad. How intelligent that guy must've been. Imagine what we could do if we could use the other two thirds of our brain"
He said:
"Well I must be cleverer than him cause I can tell you what he would've done if he could have used the other two-thirds"
"What Dad?"
"He'd have used another two bits of string!"

Well, this answer is realy simple. Because bumblebees are fricking CUTE!
I mean, just look at them! They are basically flying little hair balls, buzzing from flower to flower. Fatter than bees and way less threatening then wasps.
Even my girlfried (who hates insects) loves bumblebees! :)

Yeah, some “opinion” is not valid scientific theory. Theres no citation, no back up articles, just someones “opinion”, which is just that an “opinion”
