Horizons 9 materials on planets?

This is the 3rd run I had on the planet and I've found more than the usual 3-2-1 Rock Rat rule. Has anyone else had more than 6 materials dropping? I've only seen the special meteorite things on the first run so I thought it was a fluke. After 2 more time I'm beginning to think it isn't. Still... only found 1x Yttrium and 3x Arsenic.

The 3-2-1 when it comes to common-rare-very rare I have so far not seen any diffrence, alltough there are of course more then 5 counting the very common materials.

Ah okay. Thanks. I always thought it was 3-2-1 as default. Someone else replied to me with

You could always find:
(up to) 5 + 3+ 2+ 1 materials on a planet. The very common ones might not all be available, but they can be (so at most you can find 11 materials on a planet).
What the changed was the neat split in the (5/)3/2/1 buckets - that no longer works since they recategorized them into 5 buckets. It's likely the rarity was the same before (Polonium was always the hardest J3 material to get and is now Very Rare for example).

I believe the 321 still holds if you use the old VC/C/R/VR ranking even though the elements are now ranked 1-5.
Seen no exceptions yet.

What about if the material just says "Element"? Without the Common/Very Common, etc prefixes. I found a couple like that.
