90 objects detected.....

(Cracks knuckles...) Right, got some scanning to do!

I look forward to seeing your most populous systems, what's the most in objects in once system?

I got one a few weeks ago that I'm almost certain the ADS returned as 108 bodies, about 1,300 ly out. I was on my way back to civilisation for a CG so couldn't be bothered scanning it but I made a note of the system name. A quick check on the galactic map suggests that nobody else has scanned it yet either, although I count only 98 unique bodies so I'm guessing the rest are ring belts.

If I have time this weekend I might head back out there and give it a proper scanning. If nobody has claimed it first it'll certainly be my biggest First Discovered system, and I'm curious to know how long it'll take to scan.

And the answer was... it took bloody ages. A couple of hours on and off. The system is Swoiwns IS-S D4-5 consisting of two primary stars 180,000ls apart, one substellar object, 87 assorted planets and moons and 19 belt clusters for a grand total of 109 space thingies scanned.

It's an interesting system astronomically if not visually; lots of nested stuff orbiting stuff orbiting other stuff but the stuff is mostly grey and brown stripy stuff. Many of the gas giants had water-based life though. It got me Cr187,019 from Universal Cartographics with Cr93,485 in first discovery bonuses. Would have been nice to have an Earth-like in there but you can't have everything.

The largest system I found (Blu Thua KS-S b4-1) consisted of 101 objects (10 of which were belt clusters). All of which were first discoveries.
