Just because they are not commenting does not mean they are ignoring it.
If they do implement it, should we take bets on how quickly the first "Panther Clipper is all wrong" thread appears on the forum? I vote for 10 minutes (long enough to read the specs).
It will come out before the specs are even released because someone somewhere will hate the way it looks or something.
Just because they did not release it in the last 4 year it doesn't mean the are ignoring it...

That doesn't mean they are ignoring it though. Thats just you and others wanting things to be released on your own time. It could just mean the ship isn't ready or the game as it sits now isn't ready for it. As many people have speculated the Panther could end up being the first "Huge" ship and could possibly require infrastructure that isn't in the game yet to function.
Also I would rather a ship take forever to come out and it be a finished product than have a ship be released too early and it be a rushed mess.

I think it's still a good idea to refresh their mind, just in case...
New gameplay is welcome, but I don't waste my hopes on that... I would prefer more gameplay on planets rather than more gameplay in orbital stations

Unlikely. Unless you can put 200 Guardian shield reinforcements on it.

Adding the Panther as just a regular big ship won't be very interesting.
I think FDev agrees. Otherwise they would have added it already, I think.
I would prefer it to be a new class of 'huge' ships that needs a different external docking method.
I would also like it to have a shuttle on board to visit stations that can not accommodate this ship.
Braben already mentioned shuttles as a desirable addition to the game in one of his talks, so perhaps they are working on it.
And the Panther should not fly like a heavy fighter, but depend on a new class of improved turrets for self defense and perhaps a few SLF.

You're right... We need instead another combat ship...Just what we need, another cargo ship...
