General / Off-Topic A beverage vending machine ... oops ! Luxury Car in Singapore

To face the lack of space available on Singapore, Autobahn Motors chose to build a high distributor of cars of 15 floors. Bentleys, Ferraris, Porsches or Lamborghinis are available in just a few clicks. Once the car is purchased, delivery takes less than two minutes. No human intervention is necessary.

That's so cool lol.

In Japan I used to love the vertical car parks, which looked a bit like this and much to the amusement of the operator, to whom this is just obvious technology! But drive straight in, get out, don't lock and then watch the robot file your car away upstairs. Come back, code in, car comes back .. turned around for you, drive straight out. Like magic! So all this needs imo is a colour chart / spray station? So I want that car, in this colour and by the time the robot brings it down, you have the ulimate in paintjobs? Just make sure my Elite insignia is on the bonnet (hood) OK?

Solving a problem that shouldn't need solving of course (enjoy the food bank or take a bus!) but still, appeals to the kid in me.

If the car gets stuck you have to bang on the glass to get it to drop through the slot, just like a regular vending machine :)
