I just jumped back on today with a new computer to see what's what. Holy geez... things have got seriously better. Now, I know that you will say, "But wait Cmdr Jughed! Didn't you just say you got a new computer? Don't you think that's the reason you're having such a new/better experience?" Well yes, Brad. That is certainly part of it. But it seems like so many bugs are gone, the new stations are beautiful, I can alt-tab at will without crashing, on and on and on.

Man. This game has come really far in not so long. Well done, us! (And Frontier)

Yeah I learned to have patience and learned how good they are with the launch of Alpha 2. In the first Alpha MP for me only worked when I attached my router to a goat, sacrificed a chicken, made a pentagon with the wire under a full moon.

You can sure I roared about it on the Alpha forums. But the multiplayer quickly improved to the point where it connected automatically, then the signal started improving. Seeing those changes happen patch by patch really filled me with confidence as to their ability not only to put together a good game, but also to use the feedback coming in to fix problems (even serious ones like attaching routers to goats) as they arose.

At the very least you made one Goats day a happier one, although I didn't know Goats has a RJ45 socket. ;)
