I tried to be a model, upstanding citizen who innocently traveled around systems, found wanted vessels, and murdered the people for having few dollars in unpaid parking tickets. You know, pretty standard stuff, really.
Now I find myself wanted by the same government I used to hunt for, over a few minor details like whether or not I "owned" the canisters of gold I found abandoned in space (jetsam is property of the finder!), or whether I fired on a civilian vessel or not (okay, maybe it hadn't yet popped up "Wanted", but he was already red, and actively engaged in combat with the authorities, who of course turned on me like the backstabbing tyrants I now see they are). Their station wouldn't even let me pay off my bounty incurred in that system, alternately telling me on different displays that I did or didn't have one.
Well, enough is enough. Fight the power! Where's a good place to go and enjoy living life on the wanted side?
