Newcomer / Intro A bunch of space questions

Hi

I am new to Elite but I love it already. It looks awesome in 4K-resolution =)

A few questions, I apologize if any of them have already been asked.

1. Is there any other way then buying a module to interrupt a ship in supercruise? And how does this module work and is it considered a felony using it?

2. I have noticed that some ships you target shows up as clean in the scan but the triangle marker around them is red, why is this?

3. I have gotten attacked by ships that have clean status without me being wanted and their status does not change to wanted when they attack me, why is this?

4. I entered a new system which I had a quest in but all I had there was the sun so I tried to explore and flew around for ages but found nothing but space garbage. So is there any trick to exploring to find planets, moons, bases and so on?

5. If you are playing in a private group and you help each other out to kill a pirate, does both players get the bounty for it or just the one that does the kill-shot?

6. If you start over and clear your save do you lose all your exploredata that you have gathered?

7. Is there any way to see your ship in a full 360 degree view which you can rotate and zoom? If not this feature should definitely be implemented because you wanna be able to see how awesome your ship looks from every angle =)

I am grateful for any answers you can give, thanks

1 The only way I know of stopping another ship that's in cruise mode is to us an interdiction module. Doing so is an aggressive act(I think) so you should make sure they are wanted for something before you do it.

2. My guess here is they are clean but they belong to a faction that is hostile to you, like pirates or something. They maybe clean in this system and be wanted elsewhere.

3. Once you are hit, you can defend yourself without losing rep or getting fined. The only exception I can think of is if they are cops and you did something unwhittingly to trigger them.

4. Yes. Yes there are amny many ways to find things in a system. Your Discover scaner only has a range of 500ls(light seconds) Drop out of cruise mode, asign your discover scanner to a firing group ike 3 or 4. Then fire it. anything wityh in 500ls will ping back as a new discovery.. Also, check the system map. If there is more than one star, all of the planets may be over there. There's a lot more to exploring but his may get you started.

5.Bountu goes to who ever got the kill shot. To share, you'd have to switch off on who gets that last shot that finished them off.

6. wiping data starts you over completely. nothing is saved.

7. No way yet to see the outside of your ship while in space.

Thanks for the replies guys. The future plans seems awesome so I look forward to it.
Regarding question 5, are there plans to release real coop play where you can do missions together? If so any time frame for the release?
Regarding question 7, I am totally down with no 3rd person view when flying since there shouldn't be. What I am referring to is a 360degree view in the hangar so you can see your entire ship not just a fixed angle.
