First time I'd seen one and I've been to quite a few systems. I guess with the number of systems available, there's still going to be something new.
Those arms certainly look like they're made for hammering ships.
How does the force increase, compared to the radius? Is this linear? (It also depends on the rotation speed, but that's a constant for a given station)
I know the difference between the docking bay and the inhabited area in Orbis stations is 0.1 : 1, but the Orbis stations have a more important radius than the Coriolis (Or at least they seem so; I might be wrong).
So, either the Coriolis turns faster, and has like 0.3G in the Docking Bay, or they only have 0.6G in the inhabited area? (Or, last option, I'm completely wrong)
Normally i drop out in front side of stations. But somehow i managed to drop behind one with an arm in my Lakon-7 full with cargo. I got an adrenaline rush just boosting past those arms and hoping to be fast enough not to get hit by the nextYeah I lovingly call them the pylons of doom. I give stations with those a VERY wide girth until I am staring straight into the docking bay.
