I know that firing one's own weapons breaks silent running. I have two questions regarding this (player vs player):
1) How long after firing your weapons before a ship is invisible on radar and the contact list again? Does one need to do anything besides wait? For example, retract hard points or disable and reenable SR.
2) Will an SLF break the mothership's silent running? It shouldn't IMO. For example, I should be able to remain invisible in a Krait while my SLF is attacking an enemy, assuming my Krait doesn't fire its weapons.
3) Is there anything else that breaks silent running that I'm unaware of? AFAIK, only firing weapons and being hit with emissive rounds defeats SR. I'm strictly talking about radar visibility and target locking. I'm well aware of how night vision "defeats" SR in a strictly visual way.
