I feel it would be really cool if they did something like add some new ships styled after the expanse or the exact ships from the expanse like the rocinante or some of the smaller ships and maybe add some more space stations that accommodate bigger ships and end up adding ships like the donnager perhaps but no matter what it would probably be a fairly big update, but it would be cool

Would it be cool? it would be illegal unless they payed large sums of money for using someone else's IP. And why would they do that when they have plenty of ships in the ED lore that haven't even been put into the game?
I don't mean for it to be illegal I was just making a suggestion that I think if they were to do it, it would be neat and cool but that's my opinion and you don't have to agree its just something I think might be cool to see
No it really wouldn't, Elite Dangerous is Elite Dangerous, Expanse is Expanse, I just don't get this strange desire to mix different universes with different lore and different rules, it would be detrimental to both!
like I said it was a suggestion and my opinion that I thought might be neat and you don't have to feel the same, but this is a matter of opinions, and you feel differently but in the end my opinion will remain the same

That wasn't an insult, peoples opinion can be wrong, in my opinion, sometimes they can be very wrong, you are free to hold it though and I won't ever say they can't hold a wrong opinion. That's my opinion!
fair enough I can respect the opinions of others and I was thinking at more of a standpoint where I didn't play with any thought of lore, but I will do some looking into lore and perhaps that may change my mind it may not, but it will allow me to make a more educated decision and the reason for the particular responses I gave last night were because I was tired and was only really thinking about how it would affect how I currently play the game and not thinking of how it would affect the lore side of things and that part of the game
