A delay when stealing items from settlements

I've noticed it since the last update. I wouldn't say it's 1-2 seconds... I've experienced more of what I'd call a 'slight delay'.

I got use to it pretty quickly and it hasn't seemed to slow anything down for me. I doubt that will be permanent.
 
I'm noticing that delay on a lot of things including when I press Escape to bring up the menu, and even sometimes when I turn and look around despite frame meter reading over 60 fps. Like there's some weird artificial layer of sluggishness. Wonder if some debug code was left in place or something

OH GOD same here!!! I thought it was just me and my internet connection since I play the game via GeForce Now... I'm glad (but sorry) I'm not the only one!

So it’s not just me. At first I thought I left some power hungry process running in the background.
My FPS counter claims the game is running at 90 but it definitely doesn’t look and feel like it.

It‘s very uncomfortable to play like this.
 
Wasn't that some convenience thing added to value our time some updates ago?

Man, FD loves to step deep into cowpoo with every update, it's just different cows every time :ROFLMAO:
That was different. It was "hold button for 1s to perform action". Now it just feels unresponsive.

Like previously taking the item happened on your client and afterwards the client notified the server. Now the client asks the server for "permission" before it actually takes the item. (Just a guess)
 
After update 10 I experience 1-2 sec delay when taking items from lockers, boxes etc.
So, after I press button "use" on an item the item disappears only in 1-2 seconds.
Does anybody else have the same issue?
I can confirm, seems a kind of lag...
 
It looks like someone forgot to remove a number of multi-level nested loops or used too many if ... else if ... operators
