a DIFFERENT galaxy map problem

I swear this isn't about not being able to use gal map in VR, I get around just fine in there. But I've started to notice some inconsistencies when filtering for, say, mat traders or interstellar factors services. If I use inara to find one of those services near me, then try to cross-reference that list to what I see in the gal map, there's no comparison. The gal map shows nearly nothing and I'm not sure why. Sometimes I'll move my head around in the gal map and see a quick blip of the filters I should see normally (a blue system will flash for instance, but not persist).

Is anyone else seeing this kind of erratic behavior in gal map? I'm not sure if it's VR's fault or not, I guess I could try 2D tonight to test.

They will only show up if you have been there when using the filters. Apart from that they seem to work for me fine.

Also the services filter and especially the material/data exchange services has a max range of 40ly.
From your current position.
Even if you know about them.

So yeah that can get infuriating..
And the API feed used by Inara or EDDB purposely only list the service as "material exchange" or something and not what type of exchange it is.
