Curiously, it is possible to optimise the rotational stability of any two axes at the expense of the third (this process was discovered by Dr Wolfgang von Nerf). This has led to drives with good rotational stability, and hence high rotation rates, around two axes, with the third axis "nerfed" to prevent damage to the FSD.
