A facility at LFT 926

I've got what I refer to as a modified explore build utilizing a conda. Though I don't utilize it in deep space, because of it's insane range of 58ly's, and number of slots, allows me to haul stuff which allows me to explore places within the bubble such as a size 6d fighter hanger, a size 6h SRV, which allows me to make mistakes and not have to go somewhere to repair very often.

I happened across a facility at LFT 926 at the belt located at BA cluster one; Though it's connected there seems to be two different area's one is listed as civilians and the other isn't.
Taking my conda explore through a square hole in one of them and turning left once inside. I exited into an open area. Exploring a wee bit because of the lack of time before bed. I found what appeared to be another square door. i got a wee bit too close and when I accidentally bumped it. It opened. Being past bed time, I backed up a short distance, and logged off. Today I've got plans on actually entering and finding whatever there is to find. Which may include a rebuy; I've got billions and nothing to purchase except rebuys.

Though I know curiosity killed a cat, I'm curious if anyone else ever been there?

I checked the Contacts panel just now, there's three listings. One says Civilian Installation, one says Satellite and the last says Jailhouse Rock and Blues Bar.
Conda is large but I managed to enter the first of several portals one unlocks and opens by slightly bumping them with my bumper. A weapon might work but I've no weapon's on my conda explorer.
Apparently they are maintenence corridor's, for the most part, though one can find additional tunnels after entering one, they all lead to outside again.

Didn't draw a map so I'm not sure where I was. But I entered one tunnel almost before exiting one and once fully in, I got a trespass warning. After a minute or so, I got a 1,400 bounty issued and a red triangle appeared outside. Continuing in, I came to a left and right turn, due to the way I was positioned in the tunnel, there was a different appearing portal to my left with one large lazer looking beam and to my right there was a matching portal with two lazer like beams.

I managed to turn in the direction of the left, banged into the for lack of a better description "Fuse" and it simply broke, opening up another tunnel which ultimately just lead outside again. Went back in and broke the double fuse and the same thing. Every tunnel just leads to other tunnels which eventually all lead to outside.

I waited for the cops to be on the other side of the facility, boosted in the opposite, made it to super, then hyper ed back to jameson memorial.

All in all, I found nothing but something to be curious about. And that what I do with my conda, explorer the bubble.

Sounds super interesting though - suddenly I have so many questions! (Don't worry, I know you can't answer them ):

What are the tunnels? What are they for? Is it a feature? An abandoned test? Something to be expanded upon? A clue to something else? A red herring? The results of a slow friday afternoon in the asset/art department? A bet? A dare? A cryptic easter egg?

So. Many. Possibilities.

Sounds super interesting though - suddenly I have so many questions! (Don't worry, I know you can't answer them ):

What are the tunnels? What are they for? Is it a feature? An abandoned test? Something to be expanded upon? A clue to something else? A red herring? The results of a slow friday afternoon in the asset/art department? A bet? A dare? A cryptic easter egg?

So. Many. Possibilities.

I flew around it quite extensively and there's absolutely nothing to scan. What ever it's purpose, the only thing beside the two horizontal diamond shape portals I found at the facility with the lazer like fuse's were more tunnels. Doing some research, I've found at least 5 other such sites. Just went to one of them and rather than use my big conda, I flew one of my small fighter's around to check it out. There were portals, but no entry was available anywhere. I accidentally hit the trigger and shot a device of some sorts and a dozen cops showed up and destroyed my fighter almost immediately. So what ever they are, they are under the close watch of security.

I was just there the other day. What it is is a civilian installation that is close to the cluster. When you drop in you’re actually seeing a different POI that is close by. Jailhouse Blues or some such.
