A Far Away Meeting

I'm heading home, and as it happens my return pat had me just a few hundred light years from CMDR Engadine on his outward leg.

So at an M class star ~1000ly above the galactic plane and 18,000 ly from Sol, just up from the base of the Scutum–Centaurus arm, we met.

I took photos.

And thanks for sharing the snaps. I'm a bit envious, if I'm honest. I've not seen another ship in weeks and likely won't for the foreseeable future.

Excellent stuff and great images! Although I always get nervous when I see two, probably unshielded, explorers facing each other like that..."must not press boost, must not press boost..."

As it happens I am fully shielded. However I also lowered my landing gear so I could not press boost!

+1 rep for exhibiting what i would love to find while out exploring. Hope to meet either of you out here. I'm 17k from Sol now, on my return leg which is a very slow return as i have that 'must scan' mood about me all the time when out here.

I bet the pilot of the Asp is looking at the spaciousness and baskable comfort of that Clipper...

Edit: Did you know that the command seats on a Clipper are the same as on all other ships because, otherwise, all the other pilots in the galaxy would shoot Clipper pilots on sight out of sheer envy. True Fact.
