A Fer-de-Lance takes on the WORLD! (Virtual Reality PvP)

How did you get your speed to 518? That is crazy! Combat in VR looks super fun. Do you have any issues feeling sick flying like you do?

Get grade 5 dirty drives if maximum speed is what you're looking for. Combat in VR is absolutely mind blowing!

The thing with Elite in VR is that there is a seated frame of reference at all times. Therefore, I can flip and fly however fast and crazy as I desire without feeling sick.

Whether your VR experience is seated or room scale, as long as VR is implemented correctly, sickness never becomes an issue. Elite was built from the ground up with VR in mind. :D

I bet i got good skill at something else. Getting interdicted 6 time in a row etc..

I think you can become an awesome PvP pilot. You have to believe in yourself brother. As far as getting interdicted goes, not pledging to a power will reduce your NPC interdiction's by 90%.

I wish I knew how to fight like that.

Epic video.

Well played, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for watching. If you'd like to know my methods, just send me a PM and I'd be happy to share.

z4, as always a very entertaining video; Sooooo jealous of your VR. Keep up the good fight!

Thanks brother. I imagine you plan on getting VR at some point. I'm curious, what HMD do you plan on going with?

If I had unlimited funds? the Vive for sure :)

You won't be disappointed. The Vive is worth every penny. Room scale is truly a game changer.

I can't wait for space legs in Elite. I can already walk around the bridge of my ship in VR.

Being able to walk around stations and on planets will be truly mesmerizing.

This is what a counter to your build does (a saying along the lines of wiping the floor with you comes to mind) lmao :

And oh.. there you are [haha]

This fight took place after two whole days of that particular commander yearning for another fight after I beat him 1v1 only loosing 12% hull. The victor in our first fight was predominantly determined by piloting ability, and not some module.

I knew he was going to bring missiles for our second fight, but decided to fight him anyway because I enjoy a challenge. I can't wait until my missile countering silent build is complete. :D

I can't wait either, because I want to see what it looks like, ha.
