1-I KNOW that it is very subjective
But in your opinion, is TrackIR worth it for Elite Dangerous alone ? (.....And I'll prolly use it for Evochron Mercenary too, as well as Star Citizen in the future, if its supported). And yet, I wonder... Would it instead be a better idea to save more cash for Oculus Rift now... or perhaps, EVEN IF I had the extra cash lying around for it, save it for later when better\newer vesions of Oculus Rift are released?
2-I have a HOTAS Cougar, fully set-up, firmware updated, all VoiceAttack commands manually imput to match&function, sounds good, eh? Works well in-game too, EXCEPT one thing! That ''Spring Tension\Drag'' (or whatever you wanna call it), after only 15 minutes of dogfighting, my arm starts to hurt quite bad lol..
I recon the X55 Rhino has interchangeable springs (a selection of 4, at least - included in the box?), so I can choose the one I want for my comfort (to reduce spring tension) ? PS! I WOULD try to ''mod'' my cougar, but IMO I would prolly mess it up, instead. I'aint horribly good with this stuff
So, what would you guys recommend? Shell out the cash for the newer Rhino or keep my old (but barely used) Cougar and find a different solution? (U don't have to decide for me, just asking for your opinions\ideas about the subject
)
3-Never started the ''sandbox\campaign mode'' (again, whatever u wanna call it), but I DID finish all the training missions successfully, except the one called ''Incursion''.
It goes like this: I kill several waves of fighters first, with 100% Hull Integrity&Shields (power to systems FTW >D) and 100% Minigun Ammo,
but than at last I come across a ship that is sorta bigger and kinda looks like a... a Cobra, maybe?
And than we start dancing. We dance around forever lol. He can't take me out, but neither can I shoot him down... He takes a little damage, perhaps 1-10 procent damage at most, I might also take some little damage, than eventually my Minigun Ammo runs out, and we indefinetly start tailing eachother, OR even if I break and take some good shots, or the NPC gets ''careless'', it STILL takes forever (TO ME) with the BASIC WEAPON LOADOUT (one laser and one minigun).
Is this how it's supposed to be? Ain't I supposed to get some better weapons for that mission, mayhaps? (Saw a Youtube Video with a different weapon set-up in that mission, but maybe it was an earlier version of the game and it's changed now). So, how do YOU guys beat that training mission?
Thanks reading and any\all possible answers, cheers : )
