Hello, everyone. I am actually new to this forum. I have been playing around with Planet Coaster for a couple of weeks now, however. I built a pretty interesting roller coaster. With a really shoddy station, but that's okay. I will post pictures of that in a bit here.
So to begin with, I want to emphasize somethings I would like to change and improve with the coasters:
-Sometimes the inversions tend not to be as smooth as would hoped to be
-Coaster Lighting! I would love to see track lights
-Tunnels; I don't mean like underground or through cliffs tunnels either. I mean concrete/wood tunnels like you see on Millennium Force for example.
-The supports.
Rant here: I LOVE how that the supports automatically place themselves, but at the same time, I wish we had a bit more power over their placement too. I saw somebody replicate Kingda Ka, and it was a good recreation, no doubt, but I wish it could have the triangular supports that hold the vertical part of the coaster. And in some instances, I feel we should be able to get creative with the supports. I mean, sure it's an improvement, but we should be able to turn off automatic supports when we choose to do something creative and of our own choosing. Maybe add a section in the building that is coaster supports.
-Toggle option for visibility of emitters
-Splash zones for diving coasters.
-Inground concrete tunnels would be cool as well. I think those are available in No Limits 2 and I think they are very nice in some events
That's all I have for now as far as coasters go.
Themes:
-Music (props)
-Horror (you've probably heard this one)
-Gothic (same, probably heard it)
-More Castle Stuff (look at a lot of the German castles for inspiration)
-Steampunk
-Enchanted Forest
-Japan/Asia
-Seasonal Themes (Winter particularly)
-Christmas/Halloween themes would be cool too.
That's really all I can think of for now. I've seen a few others listed personally that would also do nicely.
Now for a picture of my first actual coaster in Planet Coaster. (I wish you guys would add water already so I can finish it).
