A funny thing happened while scanning wakes

Not entirely sure why you are scanning ships instead of wakes...

Nor why you are doing this in the Shinrarta Dezra system in Open when it's an Elite permit locked system. Kind of asking for trouble perhaps?

A famine system with a distribution site would be a lot better with multiple sidewinders jumping in and out all the time. You just sit there and scan the wakes one after another...

So while I agree that the C&P system needs a lot of TLC, is this one of those times?

What kind of C&P system can be put into place when destruction comes in less than 20 seconds?
This game is broken.

The game isn't broken. A proper C&P system would be as effective as the "no loitering" punishment in stations, i.e. quick response, deadly accurate, very difficult to eveade (but not impossible). If the Devs do that then I think we'd have even more fun.

I guess if you repeatedly murder people in the same system you would become hostile and unwanted there, especially around stations.

Sure the first few CMDRs will get the short end of the stick, but slowly the hotspots would be free (For a period of time) of ganker/greifers.

The way Hercules just kind of drifted around lazily for a few minutes while infamous CMDR <redacted> flew all around him doing bad things was actually pretty funny. It kind of reminded me of when fishermen chum the water for sharks. I do actually think the wizard sort of caught him with his pants down as it were. Both of those guys are so bad and so obvious you almost have to want to die to be killed by them.

People leaving for (or playing in) Solo, doesn't ruin the game in any way. It's their choice and good no Frontier for giving it to them.

Well, i like to see others people while travelling in the galaxy, maybe have a little chat and why not make a new friend.
The numbers of CMDRs flying in open is important to me.
If you don't mind seeing other CMDR you wouldn't mind playing in solo then ?

Hehe, normally I disagree with victim blaming, but if anyone could ever be described as "Asking for it" this was it ;-)

What would it take for NPC security to destroy a fully engineered Cutter before they can hi wake?
10 NPC Cutters to magically appear at the trouble spot? 20? 30?
The game IS broken.

They could be engineered NPC Security, and they only respond to serious threats (like SWAT cops), so you won't see them very often.

I 1 v 1'd the Wizard at the CG, his Cutter vs my 5x PA FdL. After almost ten minutes of FA Off boosting around him like a madman and literally never missing a shot, I finally ran out of ammo and SCB's. He was still at full shields with at least one bank of SCB.

Humorous, so 40 NPC Cutters then?
Need an Army of the Dead, like in Return of the King.

He wouldn't fight my FDL because in his Corvette because he didn't like my feedback cascade rail. He's not soft ;-) Maybe give the NPCs feedback cascade? ;-)

Think the security in ED need to have a meeting with CONCORD from EVE and learn how to deal with high sec "griefers" :).

I remember one time that I was in a particularly squishy ship: either a T-9 or Beluga before the former got any hull buff. A certain cmdr that prefers an Anaconda was loitering outside a station with their fangs out. I managed to boost into the station before any ramming could occur, but I kept my bandwidth monitor going.

No one docked at the station, but the bandwidth traffic stayed high. I sat there for over fifteen minutes, watching my contacts tab as a player 'conda dipped in and out of sensor range. It was quite entertaining while I made and enjoyed my coffee.
