A handful of stars very close together

I just came across this system that had 4 stars very close together. I've only ever seen 2 or 3 stars this close before so I thought I'd share this with the rest of you :)

Have you guys seen even more this close together? Please share

Well - I have several of 4 or more stars in close proximity but the one I always remember was from WAY back when I first ventured out of the bubble properly (SagA*) and came across this scene:

The small star is in fact 2/3 the size of Sol, and is INSIDE the corona of the Carbon Star it's orbiting.

I think that qualifies as close.

Interesting, I just discovered that all procedural carbon, MS and S-type stars have radii in a narrow band of 29 - 34 solar radii. Kind of silly, FDev.

I've had a quick look for it and all I can say it that it's somewhere in the wepue ba-a e7618 region (neutron fields). I remember going carbon star hunting at the time, and while I have found a few systems I've looked at before I've not found that one. I did find an Earth-like orbiting a S type which seems pretty weird.

Unfortunately I wasn't using any tracking software at the time and did not have the log files set to verbose to record my journey

I might make that another project, going carbon star hunting. It' something new, anyway.

It's kinda cool because you get to jump in facing this massive flaming star filling the screen. With the odd moment of sphincter clenching terror when you jump between the primary carbon star and the close binary

Yeah, I've seen a good share of S/MS/C stars. I'd like to find some with unusual features, like the binary-in-corona you found.
