A hilarious yet implausible dream

So...once again I drifted off during flight and ended up with a bizarre dream.

For whatever reason FDev decided to give the smaller ships like the sidey,eagle,and cobra all huge hardpoints.


Needless to say, I got treated with a view of countless commanders sending their own ships flying backwards after shooting huge railguns,cannons,or plasma accelerators.


Now sadly...I'm awake and don't have this endless source of amusement.

But...what..if?

Thoughts my fellows?

Sheeeeeeit. Imagine the overheating with a PA or Beam.

And for arguments sake, let's say they got one heck of a good roll on a powerplant mod. ;)

I'm thinking back to the b5 spinoff crusades when the victory class destroyer the Excalibur fired its vorlon based main guns - the ship powered down for a full minute

At least you will be able to go fast in reverse while firing away, like the tank in gta when you turn the turret to aim behind you haha.

Or only be able to fire it once before the cannon shoots out the back of your ship, becoming it's own projectile

Btw, talk about a throwback haha

Kinda reminds me of when i used to play unreal tournament, with some ridiculous mods running.

Low Gravity
Slow Motion
Insta-Gib
Mega Heads
Super Jump

You rarely lived longer than 10 seconds.
But if was simply amazing to watch 100s of body parts floating very slowly in low gravity.
