A humble exploration story

Hello guys, i wanna share something i ve done a few days ago.
I ve been playing Elite for 150 hours. Two days ago i finally got an Asp Explorer exploring fit worth 20m. My income was from trading with type 6.

Anyway i started exploring for the first time with Asp. A short voyage made me realized that income is too low. However i really liked exploration itself.

Suddenly i ve found a good (or mad) idea. I would clear my save to begin a new exploration career from scratch. I forced myself to gain money only by exploration.

It was pain at first but last night i returned from a short trip making 590k with basic equipment in Hauler. Now i got detailed surface scanner.

I cant tell how much i love exploring this way. Just wanted to see your comments. Cheers!

When I first started exploring I didn't even have a Discovery scanner, finding objects manually is actually pretty fun! 15,000 systems and 350 million credits later I'm still out here

I m not only impressed but also glad to know that. That was my point.. Finding an activity that can last a lot longer than standart money grinding to best equipment possible. :)
