With the coming of 2.1, it looks like the range of viable weaponry and ship builds is going to get a welcome expansion. With that, I humbly request that we get an extra, tertiary weapon group that can be bound to a third fire key. What do people think?

I'm sure there was a very similar post with a poll a week or two ago.
They just should make sticky thread that says no to this. As others have said Devs said that isn't going to happen (multiple times this week), so you can stop asking for it.
