Sounds crazy, but what if we were to have a toggle/key bind to activate supercruise assist.
or even the docking computer.
This would make it super easy for pilots to just click the autopilot,
but since the supercruise assist breaks faster than a human, so it can be active in the "can't slow down fast enough oh loop of shame" scenario, and actually break in-time,
it might be considered an exploit, so, don't allow supercruise assist to be activated in that scenario. (cool time timer or something to buffer how long until the toggle is active).
Instead of having it in your "supercruise assist",
Use the little underused compass tool, to inform which autopilots are engaged or spooled up with the right conditions to engage.
