A KOTOR Redo for 2016?

I really doubt it'll go anywhere. Even if they get past the technical stuff and manage to produce a serious amount of content, Disney is going to come crashing down on them with a C&D.

They're hoping the fact that it's more "mod" than "Remake" and requires the original content will save them, but lawyers don't care.

I don't get the remake appetite anyway. If Bioware kept remaking Neverwinter Nights they'd have never made KotOR. If Square kept remaking FF1 they'd never have made FF7. Look for the next great game, stop living in the past.

Utterly agree.

Same can be said for the movie industry these days. Every other thing is a remake and it's usually not anything like as good. It's blatant cash in behaviour.

I refuse to believe that there is a lack of decent ideas for new games or decent scripts for new movies.

Been saying the same thing for years, but I'm a novelist so not exactly an objective opinion.
