Dear Commanders,

The ranks of pilots loyal to Arissa Lavigny Duval have infiltrated by traitors. At this very moment the first system planned for expansion is Guathiti, a system that would bring negative CC to the Princess (-2 CC). The AB Picoris system on the other hand, is currently ranked number two for preparation, and would bring a substantial amount of CC to the crown (+116 CC). I request that every honorable pilot:

1. nominates all the other top ten systems to make sure Guathiti will not be prepared;
2. shares that information to those loyal to the Princess.

Currently, it's pretty hard to understand what you are contributing to, as most may be used to the "Bulletin Board Mission Types" of play.

I agree with the OP, You have to read the DETAILS on what the reward for the Power is by your actions. And I've found in the past two weeks, that most of the top 3 systems (in any list) aren't necessarily the ones that are Best for the faction's expansion.

In truth, what's missing from 'Power Play' is overall Power Strategy, as right now it seems like 'Crowd funded approach' to taking over territory.

Think about how best to help out your power, before you contribute, otherwise you'll have wasted a week of effort (Although still gotten your rank).

Seeing how close guathiti is to headquarters, I figured people were just being lazy and grinding merits or something. Either way, I put all 10 of my available nominations for AB Picotis, then set of to Sagittarius A

Alas I don't think it's possible to deal with Guathiti anymore. We tried to get rid of it in the first few days, however we failed (at least partly because of the late server changes on Thursday). The priority at the moment is to keep Peraesii (-14cc) out of the top ten and try and replace Yab Camalo with something better.

No point worrying over Guathiti at this point. It's being pumped so hard that we'd just be wasting resources trying to fight it. Concentrate on the current top 9 to keep out any other undesirable systems. Next cycle, we need to jump on the target systems ASAP to avoid this from happening again. A list for the next cycle is already being prepared, I believe.

If this is deliberate sabotage, then they didn't pick a good system for it. It's only -2, There are much worse systems they could have picked (such as Mudhrid after the server changes). I'm more inclined to view it as laziness.
