A Lavigny-Duval Current Preparation Status, stop Preping Vaka, prep Lutni

Heres where we are at, about 2 days left to go:

Number 1 is lost to Aisling Duval.
Number 2 is still holding on strong, even though its not very good.
Number 3 is a Hi Tech Patronage (bonus takover for us) system that doesn't have very good CC income potential.
Numbers 4 and 5 is on the other side of the empire, past the territory of the other Powers.
Number 6, Vaka, has moved up, its not worth much CC, and is in competition with Patreus. It isn't next to our territory and is in a horrible position.
Number 7 is good.

Only the top 7 will be available for expansion next cycle.

Number 8, Lutni, has been pushed out for number 6. This needs to be reversed.
Dongzi is still holding on. Its still getting loads of stuff delivered, it will be in the top 7 soon.

Stop Preping Vaka. Prep Lutni.

Yeah, picking a bounty hunting faction isn't fantastic because of the amount of cargo hauling that is needed.
We have the feds quite nicely undermined though :)

One thing I'm not sure about. If we do lose Cartoi (which we probably will), will the CC be lost or do we get them for System 8 on our list?

Tecnically, we do not spend them on Cartoi.

Good question, I assume its lost.
If we are lucky we still get to expand to the next one, its worth making sure number 8 is ok just incase.

Just a FYI, Lutni is an outpost only system, so if you can't prep there go to Carverda instead.

I've trucked several hundred to each system now.

Agreed the push for CARVERDA & LUTNI is vital.

If Vaka can be moved down enough it should be worth improving Preparation at MOOL, just in case failure at Cartoi frees up CC to spend in this Cycle to spend on Position Number 8.

Is anyone clear on how Nominations will work yet? Will they improve the Positions of current systems on the Top Ten? Or will they populate a new Top Ten List for next week?

Just piping in with a bit of an observation. It looks like Ugrivirii is the most profitable way to exploit Chik Bara, the closest high tech system to HQ.

Carderva is back to 7th, and Lutni at 8th. Vaka is still 6th, but with the possibility of Cartoi not being available for expansion, we should be able to get Lutni. If not, that means we got Cartoi.

So, yes, Vaka being on there is stupid, but the more we push, the more likely they'll wind up knocking something else higher up off the list. (If that is what you want, go ahead, keep pushing.)

Yes, this is insane. I wonder if there is a small number of people behind all 20,000 data packets in Vaka. They'll probably be ranking 5 next week.

Chik Bara is basically useless, the station is > 30,000 Ls from the star. (iirc)

We simply have to push Carverda and Lutni ahead of Vaka and better get another good system there too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vaka is a sabotage efford. I've seen Aisling supporters who wanted to actively infiltrate our ranks.

I think the idea is to eventually exploit or control every system cluster within our purple bubble, so that no one else does it under our nose. So, yes, Ugrivirii isn't a big profit gain, but it solidifies control of the area around our HQ.
