A less exaggerated and more realistic Milky Way

Hi there! I hope everyone is having a good day!

I always thought Elite Milky Way was way too much exaggerated and to be honest, looked bad and ugly...

And after seeing many times Space Engine Milky Way:

and this amazing view of the Milky Way disk:

I have edited a few lines in GraphicConfiguration.xml to make the Milky Way much more closer to that and here is the results;

This weird fire/cloud effect which is actually supposed to represent stars brightness was mostly removed, letting place for a much more natural looking core and space dust was reduced.

-How to?-

1.
Open GraphicConfiguration.xml located here > C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64

2. Search for "MilkyWayInstancesCount" and if you scroll, you'll see the same lines for <low>, <medium> and <high> preset, edit the correct lines based on your in-game settings;

3. Replace those values (high):

<MilkyWayInstancesCount>16000</MilkyWayInstancesCount>
<LocalDustBrightness>0.0</LocalDustBrightness>
<MilkywayInstancesBrightness>1.0</MilkywayInstancesBrightness>
<MilkywayInstancesSize>1.0</MilkywayInstancesSize>

With those:

<MilkyWayInstancesCount>0.0</MilkyWayInstancesCount>
<LocalDustBrightness>-0.05</LocalDustBrightness>
<MilkywayInstancesBrightness>0.18</MilkywayInstancesBrightness>
<MilkywayInstancesSize>2.5</MilkywayInstancesSize>

Note: The stars brightness should extend all the way to the left and right but as far as I know this is not possible to do without bringing back this "fire/cloud" effect everywhere.

Not seeing the E: D piccies.
Maybe upload them to external site, or convert to JPGs to go below the 1MB file size limit of attachments.

Hmm. Still seems a bit bright in the center?

Go out on a very clear night and look at the real thing. Stunning.

ED is actually pretty close, but a bit too bright in the center for the viewing angle.
