Disappointed not to see the Thargoids but worried to think that they are very close ?
I paid £90 and have had months and months of enjoyment. I have used up my £90 a looooooong time ago so personally I cannot fathom why anyone would have any type of concern at all. If you don't like it don't do it.......I mean why would someone be here if you derive no enjoyment from the game? Surely such self-flaggellation is counterproductive in the extreme? It is after all just a computer game.
I was referring to powerplay specifically. I too have had an awful lot of game play from elite, I love it. I was just disappointed that powerplay was a lot simpler than the sketchy descriptions had implied, and concerned at what it did to the rest of the game. Now I have settled in a bit, mining is now a thing with the addition of drones, its still not fast money, but it is quite engaging and more fun than running a trade route. Im starting to get into powerplay, it will be interesting to see how it develops, and the ability to buy more of the timed items does give you a reason to earn money elsewhere... we'll see how it goes.

Meh, i just don't know. I love Elite and am still doing it.
I like 1.3 very much apart from the execution of the PP itself, not the idea.
I will probably play it for a while to come but what's important for me the next weeks is how FD will react on the critcism many players offered on the forums. I am aware that most of the happy players (and most of the players in general) don't come to the forums , so perhaps the criticism is not representative.
But how will they treat the "established" player base, not the potential customers who could buy this game ( yes, i know they need money, too)
